PENCILSUPPORT

PENCILSUPPORT was founded with a single mission: to increase awareness on the disparity in access to education that girls and other socio-economic minorities encounter and help alleviate this disparity.
We utilize various tools to make a change: workshops and seminars on the criticality of girl child education and educational disparity, volunteering, raising funds through the sale of artwork to facilitate the distribution of educational supplies, and much more.
With each step forward and by continually expanding our efforts, we envision a future where everyone has the SUPPORT they need to pick up a PENCIL and unlock their potential through education.

A Letter from BRIHA
I started PENCILSUPPORT in 2022 when I realized the significant disparity in access to education, particularly for girls and other socio-economic minorities. Education has the power to transform lives, yet so many are denied this basic right. I wanted to change that. I wanted to create an initiative that would bring awareness to this critical issue and take active steps to bridge the gap. That is why I founded PENCILSUPPORT.
Many girls and socio-economic minorities face systemic barriers that prevent them from receiving the education they deserve. PENCILSUPPORT works to address these challenges by hosting workshops and seminars on the importance of girl child education and the broader issue of educational disparity.
As an artist, I also recognized the transformative power of art — both as a tool for personal expression and as a way to make a tangible impact. I began selling my artwork to raise funds, channeling my passion for art into a mission to provide essential educational supplies to students in under-resourced communities.
Further, I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to unlock their potential through education. By volunteering, fundraising, and creating platforms for dialogue, PENCILSUPPORT aims to foster a future where everyone has the SUPPORT they need to pick up a PENCIL and write their own story of success.
Thank you for your continued belief in our mission.

According to UNESCO, 132 million girls worldwide are out of school, and girls are 1.5 times more likely to be out of primary school than boys. We want to change this.
